​​Firewater Labradors - located in Athens, Texas. 

​We specialize in producing, raising and training,  AKC Breed Standard English Labrador Retrievers.

After spending 20 years as a Registered Nurse- specialized in emergency medicine and critical care pediatrics, I retired.  I now get to spend all of my time with my family and beautiful Labradors. You probably will never see me without a Labrador in tow, sometimes 3 or 4 if it’s a lucky day! Labradors bring me great joy. I swear they can make my heart smile. I am fortunate enough to share the love I have for my dogs with my husband, who is every bit as devoted as I am. I believe a Labrador should have it all... retrieving instincts, intelligence, good health, beauty, and a wonderful temperament,  which is hallmark of the breed. I participate in both conformation and hunt tests with my dogs. I love to watch a beautiful Labrador do its job. Labradors should look beautiful in the ring as well as in the field and be wonderful calm companions!

I strive to produce outstanding AKC Registered Labrador Retriever puppies from Champion Pedigrees. My Labrador Retrievers encompass the lovable, trainable and loyal Labrador temperament. My dogs are diligently screened for health clearances. I pride myself on doing everything possible to ensure a happy healthy dog for years to come.  I want my puppies to be loved and cared for as a family member. Our puppies are sold for pet and hunting companions on AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION.
